Terrific-Fun Thursday
Today was definitely the longest day of the week, as our last day of camp was spent at the community centre and a community dinner was held at the church. "Poisoned" dodgeballs were thrown, friendship bracelets were made (as well as friendships!), and seas were crossed as VBS came to a close. The community dinner was a success with conversations all around as well as a multitude of tasty foods (thanks kitchen team and helpers!). Community members, our team, and the kids shared laughs, stories, food, and cheese touches with each other. Many people on the team later shared during our debrief how they saw God work in tonight's community dinner. Alas, even the best journeys must come to an end. Our goodbyes were bittersweet. Hugs were given, goodbyes were said and tears were shed as our team wrapped up this year's camp. Thanks to all the amazing people who made this week fun, more fun, too much fun, wacky, and terrific. Most importantly, we give thanks to God for being able to share life with this beautiful community, year after year. So instead of a farewell, we'll say "See you next time!" :')
