Tsawout 2016 - Day 3

 Wacky-Fun Wednesday

Our team waking time went from 6:30 am (Monday) to 8:10 am (today). Welcome to Tsawout J

The campers were full of wacky energy today, which was perfect, considering our high energy dance-offs during worship time, as well as the wacky goopy crafts!!! It’s a good thing a few games of octopus at the field and the constant four square at the church consumed some of the kids’ energy, or we wouldn’t have been able to contain their enthusiasm. God’s timing is always so great, and we never fail to stand in wonder of His presence. Some of us got to know the Tsawout Learning House leaders during the afternoon activity – a photo scavenger hunt, while others participated in wacky water relays at the field – a good choice of activity for a hot day like today! God gives us wisdom (true that!). Many of us saw God work in times when the kids would openly share about the struggles they face. We thank God for their trust in us and their willingness to be vulnerable. Tomorrow, we look forward to using the community centre’s facilities and seeing how God will touch the hearts of the children. We also look forward to the community dinner tomorrow night. We praise God for the opportunity to share life with all generations from the Tsawout community!
