Worship

We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to visit Tsawout again.  We hope these pictures give you a little taste of what God has put in our hands this week. Us as a team have learned (often the hard way) about God's perfect timing and trying to have faith in his perfect plan. It's so difficult to hear about the brokenness and the healing that needs to be done in this place. It is so encouraging to see the children's smiling faces everyday despite their situations at home. We know these are God's children and he has an incredible future in store for them and that truly gives us hope.

In our personal devotions on Wednesday morning (written by our wonderful Josiah Ng), we remembered that "we serve an almighty, infinitely powerful God that delights when we serve him but doesn't actually need us to serve him". We were all at Tsawout to be God's faithful servants and individually God put us there for different reasons. No matter our purpose, I can speak on behalf the team that all our hearts were heavy when we heard about the brokenness of this community, whether we were there first hand or heard about it during debrief.

Relationships have been formed this week and it was so hard to say good bye. The team was there to ultimately serve God's will and to love and glorify His name. We asked God to break our hearts for what broke his and He definitely answered our prayers. As we are back home safely, there is no doubt in my mind that these kids will still be on our hearts and we will be praying for them and the community. They so desperately need redemption and healing and only our Savior can provide. We hope you keep them in your prayers too and we thank you for your support.

There will still be updates on the blog so we encourage you to keep checking back!
